What we store

• The start and destination you type, so we can plan and remember recent searches.
• Your location only when you tap “Use my location”, and only to find your nearest stop.
• Journeys you start, the steps you tick, and whether you arrived.
• Fares, wrong-stop notes and other reports you send us.
• Your email address if you create an account.

Why we store it

Route quality in Lagos comes from commuters. Fare reports and trip outcomes are aggregated to correct estimates and retire routes that no longer run. We never publish who reported what.

Who else sees it

Google Maps handles address lookup, road data and traffic. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.

Deleting your data

You can clear recent searches from the search box, and delete your account and saved trips from your profile. Fare and route reports stay in the knowledge base without your identity attached, so route quality does not collapse when one account leaves.
